Larry has been with Western International Securities since 2017. He continues to help his clients meet their long-term investment needs, whether they have a need for growth, income, tax-free income or preservation of principal. He specializes in the use of mutual funds, corporate bonds, municipal bonds and other income producing investment vehicles to help clients achieve their long-term investment goals and needs. Larry is an OSJ Supervisor for the firm and helps provide supervision for all the Registered Representatives within the branch. Larry has over 30 years of experience in the securities industry and has served as a principal with previous firms, Interpacific Investors Services (1985-2001), and Financial West Group (2001-2017) before joining Western International in 2017.

Larry attended Colorado State University from 1962-1966 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in History. He has lived in Grand Junction since 1974, coming to the area as a marketing representative for IBM Corporation. He has been actively involved in the community serving on numerous charitable and non-profit boards, including Grand Junction Economic Partnership (GJEP), Museum of Western Colorado, The Art Center, Grand Junction Lions Club and the Bookcliff Country Club. He is co-founder of the River Front Trail System and has been instrumental in the completion of the Las Colonias Amphitheater Project in 2017.

Larry has been married to his wife, Marty, for over 45 years and they have two adult sons. They enjoy playing golf, fly fishing, skiing and traveling.


Ford Keeler – Registered Principal – Registered Representative
Investment Advisory Representative (IAR) and OSJ Branch Manager

Ford joined Western International Securities in 2017. He helps individual and corporate clients with their complete investment needs. Ford serves as the Branch Manager for the local office in Grand Junction and has supervisory responsibilities (OSJ) for several other Western Registered Representatives in Colorado. He offers a customized counseling approach with emphasis on income and asset preservation.

From 2008-2017 Ford worked at Financial West Group as a Financial Advisor, Branch Manager and OSJ for the firm.

From 1993-2008 Ford worked with Community First / Bank of the West and Norwest / Wells Fargo Investments, where he helped individual and corporate clients with investment planning, investment implementation and advisory services. He developed partnerships with bank staff to assist clients jointly.

From 1987-1993 Ford worked at Prudential Financial Services where he provided investments and insurance services to primarily retail clients. He conducted insurance and investment analysis for clients as well as servicing a 250+ client book of business.

Ford attended the University of Northern Colorado from 1982-1986 where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Finance. He played varsity baseball for three years while in college.

Ford has been married for over 30 years to his wife, Kelle, and they have two adult children who both live in Colorado. Ford enjoys golf, biking, running and skiing in his spare time.

Kim joined Western International Securities in 2017 and has worked in the financial services industry since 1997. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional and a Chartered Life Underwriter, graduating from the American College of Financial Services in 2003. She also holds the Certified in Long-Term Care designation, graduating from the Corporation for Long-Term Care Certification in 2009.

Kim’s counsel to clients covers all areas of financial planning, and her areas of expertise are investment management and analysis and retirement planning. She believes in simplifying the financial planning process for her clients, and working together with clients’ accountants and attorneys when necessary. Kim is also one of the firm’s OSJ Supervisors, which means she is responsible for supervising the securities business for all the Registered Representatives in the branch.

Kim is a Grand Junction Kiwanian, member of the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce, she Chairs the HopeWest Planned Giving Council, and enjoys volunteering and fundraising for HopeWest Hospice, Girl Scouts of Western Colorado, Western Slope Alzheimer’s Association, Western Slope Center for Children, Foodbank of the Rockies, and Mesa County Valley School District 51. In their free time, Kim and her husband Al Kreinberg, an alternative High School teacher, enjoy mountain and road biking, rafting, camping, hiking, teaching and taking yoga, reading, and their two cats. Kim has also recently taken up knitting and crochet.


Jo Knight – Office Manager & Non-Registered Sales Assistant

Jo has 35+ years of experience in the financial industry, including over 20 years with Larry Jones during their time with Interpacific Investors Services and Financial West Group. She and Larry Jones joined Western International in 2017.

As Office Manager, she works in an administrative capacity and oversees all administration functions for our reps and their clients. She provides assistance to clients with general account inquiries and requests.

Jo has lived in the Grand Valley since 1988. She has been involved with Girl Scouts (GSUSA), both as a girl member and leader, for over 35 years.

Jo is a Notary Public and provides notary services to our clients, free of charge.


Lisa Essman – Registered Sales Assistant

Lisa has been with Western International since 2017. She began working with Larry Jones and Jo Knight in 2001.

Lisa has lived in Grand Junction, CO since 1974. She graduated from Colorado Mesa University in 2001 with a Business Administration degree.

She services all client needs and is Series 7 licensed, enabling her to assist with all activity and trading requests. Lisa takes care of client needs in a timely and professional manner.
